Vintage Easter Greetings

This freebie was originally published in April, 2012. Here’s the updated version.

Spring is in the air, and I can hear Mister Easterbunny hopping around in the distance. A perfect time for new vintage freebies, don’t you think? I scanned these postcards in 2012, and now I even added versions with removed text for all of them! Here’s a preview:

12 Tags of 2015 – February

12 Tags of 2015 - February

Yay, I got it online on time! I almost forgot to upload it (just like I did in January)… So here’s my newest tag, inspired by Tim Holtz’ February tag for his challenge “12 tags of 2015“. It is a little simpler than I had planned to make it, but somehow it felt complete the way it is.
It refers to my Mom and Dad’s vintage postcard collection, and I actually used some of their cards (scanned and printed) for this tag. The handwritten sample on top comes from an old recipe book which I once bought at a fleamarket.
Here are two more details (stickers which were still in my stash, and some lace):

Pinspiration No. 2

pinspirationchallengeMy second Pinspiration: beautifully romantic, vintage style earrings, based on this Pin. I couldn’t find exactly the same ‘ingredients’ – it would have been too expensive to order them from overseas – but I didn’t want to make a 1:1 copy anyway. Here you can see my two color combos:
"Pinspired" Earrings
Quite cute, don’t you think? I’m not sure whether to leave them like this or to turn them into pendants, though. Dangly earrings tend to irritate me sooner or later 😉

Happy Birthday, Papa! Mojo Monday 380 1

MojoMonday380Yesterday was my Dad’s birthday, so the current Mojo Monday sketch came at the perfect time. As a little eye-catcher I chose one of my vintage images, a sweet cutie 🙂
There used to be a doggie sitting next to the boy, but I had to cut him off because he didn’t really look good on the card. Sorry, doggie.
The book page comes from an old, boring fleamarket book which still serves a purpose as craft supply. So here’s my card, I’m looking forward to your feedback 😉
